We must make spending reforms now to ensure a stronger, better America for tomorrow’s generations. Modernizing our mandatory spending programs will adapt them to better serve Americans in the 21^st Century and minimize the debt burden we hand to our children. When it comes to the spending that Congress does vote on every year, we must ensure that balancing our budget is as important a priority as the programs that ask for more funding year after year.
