Friend -

This week, I held a healthcare listening session with various healthcare professionals at Mercy Health - Anderson Hospital in Anderson Township to hear their feedback, ideas, and concerns about ongoing efforts to combat the opioid epidemic that is hurting so many friends and family in southern and southwest Ohio.

Last week, I also visited Atricure, a medical device company in Mason; HealthSouth, a comprehensive rehabilitation hospital in Norwood; and Adena Regional Medical Center, a hospital in Chillicothe to tour the facilities, meet with staff and leadership, and hear their thoughts on healthcare reform and how the government can assist their efforts.

 Atricure - Mason, OH.

 HealthSouth - Norwood, OH.

Adena Regional Medical Center - Chillicothe, OH.

As a doctor myself, my top priority is to provide patients with freedom of choice and increase access to affordable, quality care for all Americans.

I greatly valued the opportunity to listen to differing viewpoints from local medical professionals across multiple fields - since these men and women are not only issue experts, but also the ones who are on the ground, every day, dealing with the realities of our healthcare system.

I'm committed to continuing these constructive conversations as well as working in Congress to implement a free-market solutions that lower costs and prioritize patient-centered care. I'll keep you posted on our work.

Yours in service,
