Poll: Healthcare reform

On March 7, 2017, the House of Representatives introduced legislation to repeal the Affordable Care Act and offer a replacement intended to lower costs, increase competition, and provide increased access to care. The full text of the proposal is available publicly, here.

Currently, the legislation is moving through the committee process. It was marked up by the Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce Committee yesterday. You can watch a full recording of the committee proceedings and learn more about amendments offered to the bill on the committee websites, here and here.
