WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brad Wenstrup (OH-02) issued the following statement after the passing of Congressman Elijah Cummings (MD-07), Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform: “I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman Elijah Cummings. Congressman Cummings was a fierce advocate for his convictions. His legacy will live on in the House of Representatives and in all the lives he touched. Common to the American core is our sympathy toward a family when a loved one is lost.
