Rep. Wenstrup on NDAA Conference Committee Appointment
Washington,
June 25, 2015
Following a House of Representatives motion to go to Conference on the FY16 National Defense Authorization Act, Congressman Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) was appointed to the NDAA conference committee and released the following comment: “The results are clear – Congress is back to work for the American people and prioritizing our national security. This is the earliest NDAA conference in recent years, providing raises for our troops and funding to fight ISIS. Unfortunately, President Obama’s response is a no, threatening to veto the nation’s annual, bipartisan defense bill. For the sake of those in uniform, I hope he backs off this hardline stance against funding our troops.” Congressman Brad Wenstrup Congressman Wenstrup serves on the House Armed Services Committee, is a veteran of the Iraq War, and continues to serve as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve. ### Office of Representative Brad Wenstrup
