November 10th has been designated as Armed Services, Peace Officer, and First Responder Dual Service Recognition Day by both the Ohio State Legislature and the United States House of Representatives. 

This day, the day before Veterans Day, is to honor those who have served the United States in the military and as a first responder with a special emphasis on those who have served in both capacities.

These individuals, twice the servants, will be honored at a ceremony to thank them for making the service of others their life's work.
 
 
 Keynote Speaker: State Representative Terry Johnson
 
 

Dr. Terry Johnson is the State Representative for Ohio's 90th House District.  A veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard, Representative Johnson was Ohio's first State Aviation Medical Officer and served two tours in Iraq.  Dr. Johnson is the original sponsor for the Ohio resolution to declare November 10th a day to honor those who are twice the servants.
