If you are interested in submitting a Community Project Funding request for Fiscal Year 2025, please complete the relevant request form under "Additional Information." The deadline for submissions is 12:00 PM on April 30th, 2024.
*Note that submission of this form does not guarantee that the request will be accepted or included in final legislation.*
Please refer to the documents below for the relevant Appropriations subcommittees if you plan to submit Community Project Funding requests. Requests that do not meet these guidelines will not be considered.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Only non-profit entities and state and local government entities are eligible to apply.
- All non-profit entities must provide evidence of their non-profit status as described under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Note: In Fiscal Year 2025, non-profit entities are not eligible for funding from Housing and Urban Development Economic Development Initiatives.
- Each project must be for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 only and cannot include multiyear funding.
- Each funding request must include a project description, a budget breakdown including how funds will be utilized, and describe why the project should be publicly funded.
- Each funding request must include 3 letters of support from community stakeholders, including 1 elected official (county or state.)

Office Considerations
When considering which projects will be submitted to the House Appropriations Committee, each Community Project Funding request is evaluated with the following criteria in mind:
- Originate locally from OH-02 communities;
- Demonstrated existing needs;
- A focus on improving health and/or safety;
- Infrastructure improvements that benefit the entire community;
- If the federal funding requested was an appropriate use of federal taxpayer dollars;
- Geographic diversity to include all parts of the district;
- Unified community support; and
- The ability to meet requirements set forth by the House Appropriations Committee.
