Great news for our veterans --> Today, President Trump signed the major bipartisan VA reform we’ve been working on into law. It does two common sense but important things:

1. Makes it easier to fire or demote VA employees and executives who aren’t properly caring for our heroes;
2. Increases protection for whistleblowers, so they aren’t punished for holding their organizations accountable.

Bottom-line -- it is about making sure the VA is fulfilling its core mission: to support and care for those who have ‘borne the battle’ in our place. Read the bill for yourself here or watch my speech at the press conference here.

P.S. I’ve also been working on legislation that makes it easier for the VA to attract and retain high quality doctors and medical professionals. It passed the House by a huge bipartisan vote and now we need the Senate to take action. Learn more here.
