On Monday, October 27, Congressman Brad Wenstrup stopped in Hillsboro and spent time with local business leaders and Highland County Chamber of Commerce board members discussing issues that are relevant to Highland County.
The main idea that was interwoven throughout the hour-long discussion at West Main Street Cafe was how our government can make decisions today that will make future generations proud and enhance America's future. Other topics included balancing the budget, immigration and Obamacare. President of the Highland County Chamber Melissa Elmore and Chamber board members Betty Bishop, Jeff Dickey, David Fauber, Lynn Stevens and Ellie Zint were present. Congressman Wenstrup took office in 2012, representing Ohio District 2 in the House of Representatives. While in office, he still maintains his Army Reserve status and treats patients at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He is a lifelong Ohioan and maintains a home in Cincinnati with his wife, Monica. Click here to see the original story. |
