Congressman Brad Wenstrup (OH-2), member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, released the following statement in response to the terrorist attack in Orlando: “Early Sunday morning we experienced the worst mass shooting in our nation’s history, carried out by a faithful follower of the Islamic State. This act of terror is a painful reminder that we ARE at war with Islamic terrorists. Radical Islam is rapidly spreading across the globe. It’s here in our own house. This global evil threatens everything that we hold dear. As we grieve for the victims and for our nation, we must move forward. We must strengthen our resolve to destroy this enemy, and the twisted ideology they embrace. Our safety and security depend on it.”
