This week, I plan to vote against the Iran Nuclear Agreement (the Iran Deal). The proposition is a dangerous move for a multitude of reasons:

- Key provisions of the deal sunset in just 10-15 years
- Iran is not required to dismantle nuclear facilities and technology 
- "Anytime, anywhere" inspections of suspect nuclear sites are not included
- This deal will further destabilize the turbulent Middle East
- Sanctions relief can help finance global terror organizations

To strengthen our opposition to this deal, the House of Representatives moved to vote on three separate bills

1. Disapproval of the Iran Deal
2. Condemnation of the White House for not disclosing side deals between Iran and the IAEA
3. A bill banning the Obama administration from lifting sanctions

President Obama told us that no deal is better than a bad deal – yet here we are, with a terrible deal. The alternative to this deal is not war, as this Administration is fearmongering, but through strengthened sanctions to continue international pressure on the largest state sponsor of terrorism.

We want to seek a nuclear free Iran through diplomacy with peace loving nations, military might, and effective economic sanctions. Congress and the American people must defeat this deal, in the interest of regional stability and our own national security.

Do I trust Iran? Based on recent history, I only trust them to cheat.
