everal area congressmen are joining forces to host a veterans job fair and field hearing Friday.

Congressmen Brad Wenstrup, Steve Chabot, Luke Messer, Mark Takano, and Bill Johnson will be hosting this event.

Events kick off at 10 a.m. at the Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Rd.

The congressmen will take questions from constituents about current events and discuss employment for veterans.

Starting at noon, representatives from more than 50 local companies will host a job fair aimed at veterans.

Also at noon, Wenstrup will present several military service medals to a local World War II veteran.

The events are free and open to the public.
