WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brad Wenstrup (OH-2) released the following statement regarding the FBI re-opening its investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails: “Never has a person this close to the office of the Presidency displayed this level of unprecedented irresponsibility and engaged in this type of criminal activity. Members of the armed services would certainly be disciplined or punished for far less than the careless and negligent manner with which she handled classified information and national security secrets. If indeed the Russians are hacking Secretary Clinton's interests, her actions left her and the nation vulnerable. She alone is responsible for her current situation, not James Comey. Secretary Clinton should not be privy to security briefings until the matter is resolved.” ### Office of Representative Brad Wenstrup |
