CINCINNATI—Congressman Brad Wenstrup (OH-02) issued the following statement after signing on to an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court case of Texas v. Pennsylvania:

“I have heard many concerns from my constituents regarding a variety of aspects of the election. Our judicial system provides a place to raise legal challenges and seek remedy for injustice. Similar to the 2000 Presidential election, our nation won’t have a sense of finality unless these legal challenges are resolved. That is why I asked the U.S. Supreme Court, which has ultimate jurisdiction, to take up this case, so that we may bring clarity for this election and legal certainty for future elections.”
