Cincinnati - Today, Congressman Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) announced that Ethan Avera, 9th grader at Seven Hills School, is Ohio’s 2^nd Congressional District winner for the 2022 Congressional App Challenge.

Ethan Avera designed the winning app, Recycle Master, to help people learn about what items they can recycle or compost, as a game.

"Congrats Ethan on winning this year's App Challenge,” said Rep. Wenstrup. "Ethan’s program development skills have helped pave a way for people to learn how to properly dispose of common, everyday items."

"I wanted to teach people, especially young people, what is and isn't recyclable or compostable so they can develop good habits and make more informed purchase choices, as well as to help protect the environment," said Ethan Avera.
