GOP Doctors Caucus Announces Co-Chairs for the 119th Congress

This morning, members of the GOP Doctors Caucus elected Congressman John Joyce, M.D. (PA-13) as GOP Doctors Caucus Co-Chair for the 119th Congress,  joining Congressmen Greg Murphy, M.D. (NC-03). The caucus is composed of medical providers who utilize their expertise and backgrounds to develop patient-centered health care solutions in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“As Co-Chairs of the GOP Doctors Caucus in the 119th Congress, we look forward to continuing the meaningful work that this caucus does to improve the American health care system,” said GOP Doctors Caucus Co-Chairs Murphy & Joyce. “Our country faces many great challenges, and now more than ever, we need thoughtful solutions to expand access to affordable, high-quality care. With a majority in the House of Representatives, we look forward to working with President Trump and the Republican Conference as we consider much-needed reforms.

“We’d also like to thank the outgoing Co-Chairs, Congressman Brad Wenstrup, D.P.M. (OH-02) and Congressman Michael Burgess, M.D. (TX-26), for their immense leadership and distinguished tenures in Congress. The caucus has made incredible strides under their direction and stands ready to put together an agenda on the issues facing physicians and patients across this great country.”
